This is my first blog for a while and that is due to the summer break. Over the summer i have been researching for my Final Major Project and reading books for my Thesis. I have enjoyed the summer break but i am now looking forward to getting back to college for my very important final year!
Final Major Project
For my FMP i have decided to do a series of children’s books and animations. I have decided to do 3 books and 3 animations. For this i will author and illustrate it all. I need to come up with 3 different stories for each individual book. I am also undecided whether to follow up the stories and turning them into animations or to have them as totally different stories.
I have chosen to do this subject as i have always had a strong interest in illustration and particularly children’s illustration. For a number of years i have wanted to do my very own book and i saw this opportunity of my FMP as my chance to do it.
My Thesis
My thesis is on Russian Constructivism. I am going to write about the real meaning of the Constuctivist movement and how it was politically motivated. I am going to write about how its power and significance of the time has possibly been lost due to the Constuctivists work being appropriated or in some cases plagiarised so much.
